You can also just have the knob replaced, whatever your preference. If you ve used one of these during the cold weather, then know how nice they are when trying to weld in. 3m V200 heating assembly. I always used pliers but you should have to worry about much adjusting.

The only issue with this is knob to adjust amount of flow into hood broke off, but you can it a screw driver or pliers. It keeps you warm. Works great.
